I'm new to Fertility Flower, and I just transferred over the last cycle and a half from Fertility Friend. I was surprised to see a HUGE discrepancy between the ovulation dates that each site "pinpointed".
Once cycle was an 11 day difference! So how can I know which site to trust?
hmm, I just checked back, and Fertility Flower changed its mind - now it says that ovulation in my last cycle was on Day 25, which is exactly what Fertility Friend says. There's still a discrepancy in the current cycle, but maybe that will resolve itself too. We'll see!
What made you decide to move over from Fertility Friend?
I actually chart on both sites, myself. And occassionally there are disagreements. I've had FFlower switch to a date that concurs with FF and vice versa.
Why does it do that? The charting platform is looking for patterns in both cases. And sometimes, as you roll along with your cycle, it will say - hey, that looks like a more likely scenario for ovulation - I'm going to move the date. So that's the reason that these kinds of website do that switch-a-roo.
I'll take a look at your chart and make sure that there's not something more sinister going on with the software.
