So, I am in my luteal phase (day 7 of it), and my cervix has been closed and firm like it should be, but today when I checked, it was soft and much higher, with fertile quality fluid. I read that the fertile quality fluid around this time can be normal, but what about the cervix position? I was really confused this morning. Is this normal? This is my first cycle that I've charted in years. (We've been trying to conceive for 4 years, so we're charting to conceive.) I've always seemed to have weird charting symptoms, which is why I gave up a few years ago out of frustration. I do know now that I have low estrogen. That's all I know, though.
Weird Cervical Position?

Funny, I thought I posted a reply to this - I remember doing it :/!
That little punch of suggested fertility around 6-8 days past ovulation is normal and cause by an estrogen surge (a little one) that happens around that time. I bet your temperature was lower that morning, too. It's all normal and expected. It's the same phenomenon that some call an implantation dip however there is little to support the implantation dip as a pregnancy sign because it's so common in charts!:)
